8 Hard-Working Chairs at Neocon

When you think office space, you think task chair: ergonomic curves, adjustable arms, swivel base. But at – the pre-eminent contract furniture expo, which takes place in Chicago from June 15 to 17 – manufacturers like Keilhauer, Uhuru and Buzzispace will show that there are many ways to take a seat at work. Here are eight new seats to look out for.

Since launching at Orgatec last year, Arper’s first office chair – designed by Lievore Altherr Molina – has already won a few awards (the iF Gold, for example). All mechanisms are tucked away and out of view, with the height adjuster under the seat and an impressively thin lumbar support in the backrest. Plus, it comes in a huge selection of colours.
