The company’s new Los Angeles home will showcase Blu Dot’s 150-item strong collection of diverse and multi-functional pieces including the playful sleeper sofa and the sculptural lounge chair.
The store itself – an expansive, sun-filled space – takes a page out of the quirky nature of the manufacturer’s award-winning catalogues. Adorned with a plethora of decor items such as speakers set in a vintage-inspired suitcase and clever artwork, the store is just as exciting and cool as the brand’s furnishings.
Located at 8000 Melrose Ave, the showroom will jibe well with its neighbours, happy-chic designer Jonathan Adler and fashion designers Fred Segal and Vivienne Westwood.
With headquarters in Minneapolis and another bustling retail store in New York, we bet Blu Dot will adapt just fine to its new sunny climate.
